I think this project went well. It wasnt hard at all. We had to take a picture of the same game, and then copy it onto paper using vanishing points. The hardest part of this project was getting the curves on the edges to look right. I wouldnt mind doing this project again. It wasnt a bad project at all.

Print Making *Finished*
I think I did good on this prject considering all the tiny spots that was on this animal. The way I decided to do all the Contrast, was cut out the White on the back, but cut the black out on the face. This gave it a good texture, as well as contrast. The way we could use Contrast to show the the animal, was to cut out all the parts that make up the features, such as the hair. I think this project is Crafted quite nicely, even though the Eyes are a bit sloppy. It was really hard to cut out small things like the hair, and the eyes. Print making was very difficult. Only because you have to decide how, and what parts to cut out, to make it look like an animal. It gets very confusing sometimes.

Print Making
For this project we had to pick three animals, sketch them, and then choose which one we liked the best to cut out, and make the print of. I chose the red panda because it was the best one I drew, and it was unique. This animal didnt have alot of texture, just fur, which was hard to draw, and make it look right. Texture is needed for these prints to make it look more realistic. If it doesnt look realistic, then it doesnt look right, or good. the texture of the fur was hard to put in so I put thicker lines of fur, so I can cut around them. The reason we had to choose three different pictures of our animals is so we get a feel of what the animal looks like from different positions. If we only know what it looks like from one position, then we wouldnt be able to draw it as greatly. When I look at the sketches, I can tell which one will be the best for this because it has enough texture, and it will fit perfectly.

Value Portraits
For this project we did portraits of classmates. We had to puit all the values in on the painting to try to make it look realistic. To do this, we used the picture of the real person, and used tacing paper to trace all the 'Shapes' on their face. This let us know where all the different shading was so we can color it darker. This was difficult on the darker side of the face, because it was hard to see the features on it like the eyes, and mouth. To find all the features we had to hold it up to a window to see through the picture to trace them. I think I did go through all the values on the picture. It wasnt hard to go from light to dark on it when I needed to. I dont think that this turned out too great, although it was a harder project than what I expected. The main thing that I had trouble with was the mouth, and the eyes. It was hard to get them to look decently right. But, I think i got the part of the mouth to look somewhat better than it was.

Drawing Turtles
This project was a lot harder than I imagined it to be, only because the turtles kept moving. If they didnt move as much, I think it would have been alot easier. We also drew pinecones, insects, and sea shells when we werent at the tables with the turtles. The turtles were by far the hardest thing I have drawn in this class so far, but I expect alot harder things to come in the future.
I thought I did Well on this project. I got most of the bones to fit in the slim character, which wasnt too hard. One thing that I did have trouble with was the fingers, and how they were placed, but I got past that and finished it. If i were to redo this piece, I would try to fit more bones in the body, to make it look alot more realistic, and nicer. I would also try to draw them more detailed. I feel that this project was very succesful considering it was my first time doing this with a cartoon character, and how I didnt even know what the skeleton of him looked like. This project wasnt too hard, but some things did get a little challenging.
